We first met Mackenzie in the summer of 2015 after her mom had scheduled her senior portraits with our Seniors, Revised program. As I spoke with her mom on the phone about her session, she said she had a few odd requests. She wanted Mackenzie to be able to incorporate memories of her father in her senior portraits, like his letter man jacket, and pictures of him playing football. We were thrilled at the request. There was an instant connection between all of us. It was one of the most emotional sessions we've had, and were so in love with the beautiful images. You can relive the emotion here.

We got to work with Mackenzie again during her prom in 2016 and got to meet Jeff for the first time!

Then in 2017, Mackenzie contacted me to capture another important milestone in her life; their wedding portraits! She called and said they were coming home for a week and were going to elope with only their parents and close friends knowing. I felt so honored to be a part of such an incredible surprise!

Of course our "spring" here in Northern Nevada consists of snow, wind, and cold temperatures, but we didn't have time to reschedule! Mackenzie and Jeff showed up to the Brown Ranch and of course it was a whiteout blizzard outside. So, Plan B it was! We went up the road a bit to our neighbor's ranch and shot in their gorgeous barn! By the time we got back to the Brown Ranch, it had calmed down a bit for just a few more images outside.

I was so excited to be a part of your special day. Mackenzie and Jeff!

Congratulations you two! I wish you many years of happiness!
