A DJ for you wedding, are they really necessary?

ADDING A DJ TO YOU WEDDING

But I was just going to put on a playlist I made on my Ipod. Please give your DJ more credit than that! That's like saying “Well all the photographer did was press that button on their fancy camera, I have one just like it!”

Your DJ is the heart and soul of your night. Having a skilled DJ will make all of the difference! For one, he has the microphone! Therefore, he's running the show and it's his job to keep things running and running smoothly! I've worked with some incredible DJs, one in which was able to get the speeches, cake cutting, dances AND garter/bouquet toss done in 45 minutes! A photographer's dream! Really it is! There's nothing worse than trying to find the best man for his speech (he's ran off with a bridesmaid) haha, not that funny. Or the guests are starting to leave before they've even had a chance to watch the emotional father/daughter dance!!! If we get all of the important things documented right off the bat, then you can breathe, relax and actually PARTY and enjoy it! Trust your DJ! If you've chosen a great DJ, he'll know not to play AC/DC during dinner or constant slow song when all you want to do is dance!
