Gerald & Mandy

Julian Tomera Ranch, Pine Valley

We had perfect weather for Gerald and Mandy's engagement session and we're hoping for the same gorgeous weather in October of 2017 for their beautiful wedding! These two chose to do their engagement session with the breathtaking views of the Julian Tomera Ranch, just down the road from the Brown Ranch in Pine Valley. I was fortunate enough to shoot here last year, and was ecstatic when I was asked to go there again. The love these two show for each other along with the textures of barnwood, gorgeous skies, grand fields, and an old rustic truck off the side of the road made for the perfect day to document their engagements.

Enjoy just a few of my personal favorites from this session! A special "thanks" to Sabrina for letting us use your beautiful land and for some incredible behind the scene shots you can check out on the Instagram page!

Our love story:

We went to high school together, but never really spoke.  It wasn't until a mutual friend's graduation party last May that we really had a real conversation.  From there, it took Gerald a month to ask for my number. We've been in constant contact ever since. Our first date I cooked for him and we watched McClintock, which was a huge checkmark!
Gerald had to go back for his final year at college in August. So for about nine months we made the long distance thing work, with me driving down to Orem when I could and him surprising me a few times.  After he finally graduated, he moved in with me. Distance really did make the heart grow fonder because once he was home, we felt closer than ever.
He proposed on July 14 after I got back from a long trip for work. He left riddles around the house which lead me to him, a beautiful ring, and my future.
We have two dogs together. A 1.5yr red heeler named Cayenne, and a 6 month border collie called Bear. Together we are trying to get our home organized, and enjoying every bit of it.
