Anthony and I met the morning of Valentine’s Day 4 years ago. I say morning because it was well into the wee hours of the morning at the Peacock bar in Carlin. He was there with his friends and I was there with mine. We locked eyes as soon as I walked in the bar. Him knowing my friend I was with was his "in" to come and introduced himself to me. He bought us drinks all night and we had a blast, but what really did it for me was how much we connected over music at the jukebox. Every time I would say an artist or a band that I thought he wouldn’t know, he did! And that sealed the deal for me. Just before I left the bar he asked me for my number and we haven't stopped talking since. We started officially dating soon after the bar meeting and a little time down the road Anthony bought a house in Carlin and we moved in together. On Mothers day, of all days, in 2017 we got the biggest shock and surprise we could have imagined, I was pregnant! Easton James blessed our lives on January 4th, 2018 and our family became a little more perfect. The next year for my Mother’s Day present, Anthony gave me a gift certificate for a family photo shoot. Little did I know he had some other plans up his sleeve besides just family photos. Anthony used the photo shoot to propose to me, and let me tell you, I was completely clueless and surprised. Easton helped with the proposal and he had it documented in pictures. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way it was perfect. I’ve never felt a love like I do with Anthony. Getting to combine our families as well as getting to start our own is like a dream come true. I love him so much, and when I think of my future and what it looks like he’s standing there right beside me every step of the way and I can’t wait to grow old and grey together.
