Photographing an engagement session at the Midway Ice Castles has been on my bucket list since I found out this incredible place existed! When Matt, Kayla, and I sat down for their wedding consultation they mentioned wanting a winter engagement session... I knew this would be the perfect time to cross this off my bucket list! Booking tickets for the Ice Castles isn't ideal when you live in Elko, NV, 4 hours away! Weather plays an important roll in keeping this place magnificent! There was a time I didn't even think we'd make it! Last year their season ended in the beginning of February because of the warm weather! Luckily we were able to travel there on the most beautiful day possible! It wasn't too chilly for Kayla to rock this stunning red gown! The Evergreen Flower Shop & Events Co. was gracious enough to whip up this stunning bouquet for us!
