Locations

One of the first things we'll discuss when you decide to book Kate Brown Photography as your photographer is the location you'd like for your session! Location is very important, from showcasing your individual style, to the time of day, and the season plays an important roll as well! So, here are a few of locations we love to travel to and photograph at, some are public others are private grounds.

Downtown Elko

From the tree streets to the city park, there's beauty all around our gorgeous historical little town of Elko!

Maggie Creek Ranch

Maggie Creek Ranch is located just 12 miles west of Elko. This new gorgeous wedding venue is filled with beautiful aspen trees, barns, and fields as far as the eye can see!

Six Bar Ranch

A private ranch located in Spring Creek with a gorgeous view of the Ruby Mountains, fields, trees, and barns for a stunning backdrop.

7th Canyon Ranch

If you're wanting fall color, this is the place to go if you're wanting your session on private grounds. This ranch is filled with beautiful aspen trees with an incredible view of the Rubies. Located in Lamoille, NV.

Brown Ranch

The Brown Ranch is located 15 miles south of Carlin on the Eureka Highway. You can't go wrong with this gorgeous location, from the historical school house to the beautiful fields, this is a great location for your session!

Julian Tomera Ranch

This ranch offers gorgeous fields and beautiful scenery with access to a large rustic barn. This ranch is located about 25 miles south of Carlin.

Lamoille Canyon

Lamoille Canyon is the largest valley in the Ruby Mountains. It's a short 20 minute drive from Elko that provides a gorgeous backdrop in any season!

Lamoille Grove

The grove is located in the heart of Lamoille. The lighting in the grove is absolutely gorgeous, it offers plenty of trees and grass for your session.

Saltair, UT

Saltair is located just off of I-80 west of Salt Lake. This amazing location has the most beautiful sunsets that reflect off of the water. This is definitely a unique location for your session!

Bonneville Salt Flats

The Bonneville Salt Flats is located 120 miles east of Elko, just off of I-80. If you want a truly unique session, this gorgeous location is it!
