I would (and do) recommended Kate to everyone! I have done 4 photo sessions with her (Boudoir, engagement, bridal, and our wedding) and every session went perfectly seamless! My husband and I are normally the most awkward in pictures. Kate directed us exactly the way we needed it. When telling her of problem areas that I like to hide in photos she knew exactly how to pose my body so I would love all the photos! For our wedding day she put together the timeline so I didnt have to and helped us stay on track the entire night so we could make sure to capture everything we wanted her to capture. Her creativity, talent and professionalism is just icing on the cake as she is also such a Kind and caring person! When I called Kate in April to schedule my bridal session I had just recieved terrible news of my grandfather being diagnosed with end stages of cancer, we were afraid he would not be able to make it to the wedding (June 15th which was his and my grandmothers anniversary) so I asked her if she had any good ideas for something special for him beside just showing him a photo of me in my dress, Kate didn't hesitate to say "lets go to Reno and do a first look with your grandpa! " this meant the world to me that she was willing to give up a weekend to get that special photo with him. He unfortunately couldn't hang on just one more week for us to get there for the reveal but she captured the most beautiful photo during my bridals that truly captured everything special about my grandfather and I's relationship. My “now” husband and I live in Phoenix, AZ so most of the coordination was done via email, phone, or text. However, I felt that our distance wasn’t a barrier. Our engagement photos were taken at Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, AZ while Kate and her family traveled to a nearby town for the holidays. From day one Kate Brown has been impeccable to work with. She made every session for my now husband and I such a breeze. Her work is amazing!!!!! This woman looks for the best shots in the area you want to be in and if you're up for a little adventure to get those amazing views she will help you get there. Heck I'd never imagine some hiking, creek crossing and a bit of speed would ever happen during my bridal session but my goodness, the photos she took I'm at a loss for words. When planning our wedding our biggest concern was being able to find a photographer who would capture our day perfectly. We didn't want to have to stress if our pictures would come out how we imagined them or that all the special moments on that day would be captured. When we first met you we instantly knew you would be the perfect fit as we could tell that you were very passionate about your work and what we had seen was spectacular. After taking our engagement pictures and looking at them after the session and being unable to pick just one favorite our excitement for our wedding pictures just got that much greater. Planning a wedding is stressful all in it's self and having you email us in a timely manner and making sure everything was planned out and even reviewing the plan prior to the wedding, the stress of our pictures was one we didn't have to worry about at all. During the day of the wedding we never felt like any of the pictures wouldn't be beautiful. It's almost like you knew exactly what we wanted without us even having to tell you. When we saw our pictures it felt like we were reliving our special day all over again. The day goes by in a flash, most of us wish we could go back and relive it time and time again. By having such great quality pictures to treasure for a lifetime we are able to relive the moment as many times as we want and the best part is that every special moment was photographed perfectly.
