Every year I go over my business plan and map out what photography courses, workshops, webinars, and conferences I'd like to attend to continue my education in this wonderful career of mine. It came late in the year, and I really only had a couple of months to plan, but when I saw these two amazing business owners offer this workshop in Colorado, I just had to make it happen!

The first thing I had to think about was my babies! Leaving for a weekend is one thing but when I'm traveling during the week and need another me... it gets a little tricky. Luckily our niece (yes, I call you my niece-Gelica haha) was off of work and able to come do all of the mom things, like getting our son up and off to school, taking our daughter to dance class, and getting dinners ready! You are truly amazing, Angelica. We are so lucky to have you in our lives, the kids adore you!

Next, I always chat with my husband to make sure it's doable for me to go out of town with our schedules fluctuating quite a bit. I am beyond blessed to have such a supportive partner by my side not only in life choices but encouraging me in my career. 

What an incredible experience this workshop was. Not only did I get to shoot in a gorgeous location but I got to bond with so many like-minded women. Every workshop or conference I attend I am always excited to stay in touch with a some creators and watch them continually grow throughout the years.
