Hi there, we are Mike and Tasha. When we first met, we had no idea we had just met our best friend. Mike is a fisheries biologist and I was a seasonal for the summer, which was how we got to know each other. We talked a lot during the long drives and while camping and hiking together. Before long we were working out at the gym together too. We pushed each other not only at the gym, but in every aspect. One of our favorite times together was getting ice cream every Sunday. We took our time getting to know each other. After summer I had to go back to college to finish up school. We would visit each other almost every weekend. We always found fun stuff to do like going to haunted houses, amusement parks, the pumpkin patch, ballet performances, and concerts. After college we moved into an apartment together and really started to learn from one another. 

One night after his boss’s Christmas party, he wanted to go look at Christmas lights around town. While we were driving he said, let’s stop by the new house and see where we want to put all of our stuff. When we pulled up and I was walking to the door, he used a remote to light up a sign in the window that said TASHA WILL U MARRY ME. When I turned around, he was down on one knee with a ring. I was so surprised and excited. I had been waiting for this moment! We make each other want to be better people and I could not be more excited to become Mrs. Starr.
